The Karura Classical Guitar case is a work of elegance and beauty. I have been a guitarist for 50 years and this is the finest case that I have seen or owned. I play a 1969 Manuel Velasquez Concert Guitar and the folks at Karura built the perfect case for it. I did a lot of research before I made this decision. As I worked my way up the ladder of increasingly good as well as increasingly expensive cases, I saw that there was no comparison with the Karura and any of the less expensive cases.Even with the cases in the $700-$800 range there were problems of structural integrity under stress. The case is stiking with it's outer contoured design externally and has Great propriety latches.When put your guitar in the case and latch it up you will feel that the guitar is perfectly safe. The interior is gorgeous and has a nice space for gear such as strings tuner etc. The case was built to the exact specifications of my guitar and when I put the guitar in the case it was ansolutely perfect fit. No additional space whatsoever for the guitar to move around in there. It's like the case is gently hugging the guitar. If you really love your guitar, this will be a wonderful investment for you. Even if your guitar is worth less than the case but is still a good guitar I would highly recomend the Karura. Here is my guitar value story: When I bought my Velasquez new in 1969 it cost $1250. Now it is worth between $20,000 and $30,000. So you never know when a good guitar will become expensive over time. The people at Karura are wonderful and throughout this process they were in constant contact, even sending me photos of my case being built. They spoke about every aspect of the process with me and invited me to contact them at anytime. I would never buy another kind of case and I will alway want to work with Sebastien and Audrey on matters such as this. I buy only the best. This is the absolute best.
